Beijing General Assembly just 40 days away
Early bird registration rate extended through September 10.

BEIJING – Those WTCA members that have not already done so are encouraged to register as soon as possible for the October 10-13 WTCA General Assembly in Beijing. At this year’s Assembly, the most important event on the WTCA’s annual calendar, there will be stimulating presentations and discussions, matchmaking for trade mission delegates and a very attractive cultural tour program. The program has been enhanced to include more topics that are important to members’ every day operations, and ample time will be available for members to network and learn from each other. Also, a new “WTC Network Marketplace” will encourage business matchmaking, and a revised WTCA headquarters organization chart will be presented. Most important, delegates will have an opportunity to meet Kofi Boateng, the new WTCA COO.

China Travel Services (CTS) is the WTCA’s official travel agent to handle registrations, visa applications, logistics, accommodation arrangements and sightseeing tours.
The principal accommodations and meeting venue is the China World Hotel, Beijing, No. 1 Jianguomenwai Avenue, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. The conference registration fee for delegates and accompanying persons is US600 until September 11, USD800 until October 9 and USD1,000 on-site. It covers conference admission and afternoon breaks, welcome reception, accompanying persons program on Oct 12 and sponsored events. The conference rate does not include breakfast, airport transfers or tour fees. A General Assembly Web site has been established to provide further details on all aspects of the event, including the meeting program, hotel arrangements, post-meeting tours and registration procedures.

The All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, which has cooperated with the WTCA in the past, will assist the WTCA in organizing business matchmaking sessions for WTC and business delegates in Beijing. In those cities in China with WTCA members, business matchmaking will be handled by local offices of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
