In his capacity as General Manager of World Trade Center Abu Dhabi, Mr. Ghannoum serves as Chair of the Committee on International Relations and Development and is a member of the Committee on Public Relations and Information. He was appointed in 1995 as the Regional Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa. His responsibilities included promoting the WTC concept in his region and resolving matters and issues concerning WTCs in the area. Mr. Ghannoum was the General Manager of Amman WTC (1990-1997) and has since moved to the Arabian Gulf to set-up the WTC in Abu-Dhabi.

In 2000, he was appointed member of the WTCA Board of Directors.

Mr. Ghannoum's 15 years of in-depth experience in the service industry and export promotion have laid the foundation for joint-venture assignments, as well as marketing products and services globally. He has successfully developed strategies and implemented marketing and export promotion programs for local businesses and government organizations. This has included years of hands-on responsibility in developing international business relations, and providing local businesses with services and programs to assist them in carrying out successful business operations beyond domestic boundaries. He worked for the Private Services Development Project (PSDP) under the direction of the Jordanian Ministry of Planning, which was funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The PSDP was designed to strengthen the institutional capacity of service areas that are considered critical to the long-term development of Jordan. Ousama Ghannoum holds an MBA degree from the College of Notre Dame and a Bachelors degree in Management from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management. He serves on several committees and associations.
